Douglas Hofstadter: the David Byrne of Cognitive Science
In this provocative Stanford University Presidential lecture titled, “Analogy as the Core of Cognition”, cognitive scientist and Pulitzer Prize winning author Douglas Hofstadter elaborates on the role of analogy in cognitive computation in meticulous detail.
Also, he reminds me of David Byrne.
